Carla Caro Villanova has won the EUCYS 1st prize!

Carla Caro Villanova earned the first place in the European Union Contest for Young Scientists (EUCYS) 2021, thanks to her project “Formulation and implementation of a support vector machine on D-Wave’s quantum annealer”, held in Salamanca (Spain) on 19th, September. The contest rewards the best young scientific talent that Europe has to offer. Carla conducted her research project co-supervised by David López-Núñez and already won the first prize of the competition XXXII Certamen Jóvenes Investigadores .
