New publication on the superconducting penetration depth of aluminum thin films

In this paper , QCT members David López-Núñez, Alba Torras-Coloma, Elia Bertoldo, Luca Cozzolino, Manel Martínez and Pol Forn-Díaz present a study of the superconducting penetration depth in aluminum thin films. The work examines samples that range from those exhibiting pure thin-film characteristics to others approaching bulk-like behaviour, providing an estimate of the critical thickness at which aluminum transitions to type-I superconductor.
